Psalm 119 is a prayer to God, the Lawgiver. It contains blessings for those who walk by the law of the Lord and keep his testimonies. The prayer praises the Lord and Heavenly Father for His Word and the valuable lessons it contains. It asks for the Word to become daily sustenance and life-support, knowing that it alone can keep one from the evil one and enable one to live a life that is pleasing to God.
