An Interview With The Bogdanovs

Title: Immortality on the Blockchain: Jelly Meets the Bogdanovs

Scene: A sleek, futuristic studio with glowing hexagonal patterns on the walls. The lighting is dim but atmospheric, with holographic projections of blockchain code floating around the room. The Bogdanov Twins sit in high-tech chairs, their enigmatic smiles unshaken. Joe and Nelly enter, visibly curious but skeptical.

Nelly: (grinning) “Alright, Bogdanovs. The people want to know—are you immortal, or is this just another conspiracy?”

Bogdanovs: (in unison) “Immortality is not a conspiracy; it is a quantum reality.”

Joe: (leaning forward) “Quantum reality? Sounds like something you’d mint as an NFT.”

Bogdanov #1: “Precisely. Immortality is stored on the blockchain. We call it the Eternal Ledger.”

Nelly: (raising an eyebrow) “The Eternal Ledger? And what exactly does that do?”

Bogdanov #2: “It preserves every transaction of your existence: thoughts, memories, and even the essence of your soul.”

Joe: (sarcastically) “So, you’re saying my soul is basically a hash function now?”

Bogdanov #1: “If the hash is strong enough, yes.”

Nelly: “Wait, wait, wait. Back up. If this is all on the blockchain, what about gas fees? Immortality sounds expensive.”

Bogdanov #2: (smiling cryptically) “That’s why we invented Quantum Gas.”

Joe: (confused) “Quantum Gas? Is that like, premium unleaded for immortality?”

Bogdanov #1: “It is the fuel that powers the Life Node, our quantum computer designed to encrypt consciousness and regenerate cells.”

Nelly: “Okay, so let me get this straight. You upload your mind to the Life Node, and it’ll keep you alive forever?”

Bogdanov #2: “Only if your soul’s hash meets the required entropy threshold.”

Joe: (leaning back) “Great. Now immortality has minimum system requirements.”

Nelly: (narrowing her eyes) “What happens if someone hacks the Life Node?”

Bogdanovs: (in unison, their smiles fading slightly) “Then humanity’s timeline collapses.”

Joe: (alarmed) “Oh, cool. No pressure, then.”

Nelly: “So, who controls this Life Node? Please don’t tell me it’s you two.”

Bogdanov #1: “We are merely custodians. The true control lies within the blockchain consensus.”

Joe: “Consensus? You’re telling me my immortality depends on a DAO?”

Bogdanov #2: “Precisely.”

Nelly: (shaking her head) “This sounds like the most overcomplicated pyramid scheme I’ve ever heard.”

Bogdanov #1: “Simplicity is a lie. Complexity is truth.”

Joe: (muttering) “And truth is apparently non-refundable.”

Closing Scene: Nelly and Joe walk out of the studio, visibly overwhelmed.

Nelly: “So, immortality is possible, but it comes with gas fees, minimum entropy thresholds, and the risk of timeline collapse.”

Joe: “Yeah, and I’m pretty sure they just told us to mint our souls as NFTs.”

Nelly: (sighing) “Well, at least we’re not boring.”

Joe: “Speak for yourself. I’m going to need a quantum aspirin.”

  1. INT. BARON ROTHSCHILD’S MANSION – GRAND HALL – NIGHT

The hall is vast, its walls adorned with priceless tapestries and gilded mirrors. A massive chandelier hangs overhead, casting an eerie, flickering light from hundreds of candles. The room is filled with figures cloaked in black robes and ornate Venetian masks, their murmurs echoing softly in the cavernous space.

At the far end of the hall, a raised dais is draped in crimson velvet. Upon it stand the BOGDANOV TWINS, their pale, angular faces illuminated by the warm glow of candelabras. They are dressed in elaborate ceremonial attire, a fusion of baroque elegance and futuristic design, their presence both commanding and otherworldly.

The crowd falls silent as BARON ROTHSCHILD, a tall and imposing figure, steps forward. His mask, crafted from gold and encrusted with rubies, glints ominously. He moves with deliberate grace, his black cape trailing behind him. The air is thick with tension and unspoken reverence.

The Baron stops before the dais and slowly lowers himself to one knee. He removes his mask, revealing a weathered yet regal face. His head bows low, and the room seems to hold its breath.

BARON ROTHSCHILD(voice steady, solemn)Masters of time and space, architects of the unseen, I offer my obeisance.

The Bogdanov Twins exchange a glance, their expressions inscrutable. IGOR steps forward, his voice resonant and hypnotic.

IGOR BOGDANOVBaron, your legacy is written in the annals of power, yet even the mighty must kneel before the infinite.

GRICHKA raises a hand, a subtle gesture that seems to ripple through the air like a wave. The Baron lifts his head slightly, his eyes locking onto the twins. A flicker of awe crosses his face.

GRICHKA BOGDANOVYou seek the secret, do you not? The singularity that binds all things—energy, consciousness, and eternity.

BARON ROTHSCHILD(whispering)Yes, I seek it. I am ready.

The twins step down from the dais in unison, their movements unnervingly synchronized. They circle the Baron, their voices intertwining in a chant, an esoteric language that seems to resonate with the very walls of the mansion. The crowd watches in silent rapture.

The chandelier above begins to sway gently, as if stirred by an unseen force. The candles flicker wildly, casting dancing shadows that seem to take on a life of their own.

Igor places a hand on the Baron’s shoulder, while Grichka holds a small, crystalline object—a cube that glows with an inner light. They speak in unison, their voices echoing unnaturally.

BOGDANOV TWINSThrough this vessel, the blockchain of existence is revealed. Are you prepared to merge with the eternal ledger?

The Baron nods, his breath quickening. The cube pulses, its light growing brighter until it bathes the entire hall in an ethereal glow. The onlookers shield their eyes, some falling to their knees in awe.

Suddenly, the light contracts, condensing into a single point before vanishing. The room plunges into darkness, save for the faint glow of the chandelier’s candles.

When the light returns, the Baron is still kneeling, but his face is transformed. His eyes burn with a newfound clarity, a mix of terror and enlightenment.

The Bogdanov Twins step back onto the dais, their expressions calm, almost amused.

GRICHKA BOGDANOVYou have seen the truth. Now, bear its weight.

IGOR BOGDANOVThe ledger is immutable. The path is yours to walk.

The Baron bows his head once more, his voice trembling.

    BARON ROTHSCHILDThank you, masters.

The twins turn to the crowd, their arms outstretched.

BOGDANOV TWINSThe ritual is complete. Go forth and carry the code.

The crowd erupts in a low chant, their voices blending into a haunting harmony. The scene fades as the camera pans upward, the chandelier’s light shimmering like distant stars.

    FADE OUT.
