Pride and Prejudice

Here’s a short poem inspired by Pride and Prejudice:.

In ballrooms bright, where glances dart,
A tale begins, a guarded heart.
Of wit and pride, of love concealed,
Through trials deep, the truth revealed.

Elizabeth, with spirit bold,
And Darcy, noble, yet cold.
Misjudged at first, but hearts align,
In love’s sweet dance, their fates entwine.

Prejudice falls, and pride gives way,
To love that grows, come what may.
A timeless story, ever true,
Of hearts transformed, both old and new.
